How every device is tested before listing

Every iPhone is professionally tested with Blackbelt diagnostic software before it goes on sale, and comes with a Blackbelt Tested Certificate showing exactly what was tested, the results and the battery health. Here is what that covers.

Warranty, returns & delivery

Every iPhone is covered by the 24 month Mintro Guarantee against faults, which is two full years of cover. Accidental damage, water damage and misuse are not covered.

Buy online and you have 14 days from the day your order arrives to change your mind, just pay the return postage. Faults are dealt with under the Mintro guarantee.

A graded iPhone has been inspected and given a cosmetic rating of Excellent, Good or Fair, which describes how it looks and nothing else. Every graded iPhone at Mintro is fully tested with Blackbelt diagnostic software and works perfectly, whatever its grade. The grade simply helps you choose the appearance and price that suit you.
Do pre owned iPhones have Face ID?

Yes. Face ID is tested on every pre owned iPhone we sell, along with the screen, cameras, buttons, speakers, microphones, ports and connectivity. On models with a home button we test Touch ID instead. If any feature fails our checks, the handset is never sold as a working device.
Are Mintro iPhones unlocked?

Yes. iPhones from Mintro are sold unlocked unless the listing states otherwise, ready to use on any UK network. We also run an IMEI and blacklist check, remove iCloud and Activation Lock, and fully wipe the device, so you can insert your SIM and set it up as if the phone were new.
Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every iPhone comes with the 24 month Mintro Guarantee, which covers faults for two full years. It does not cover accidental damage, water damage or misuse, and it sits alongside your 14 day change of mind window on online orders.
What battery health can I expect?

Battery health is at least 80 percent on every iPhone we sell, and the exact figure is stated on each listing. Excellent grade handsets have 91 percent or above, Good grade 85 to 90 percent and Fair grade 80 to 84 percent, so you always know before you buy.
